Step-by-step instructions

Proper care of a fresh tattoo is key to achieving a beautiful, long-lasting effect and quick healing. Follow these simple rules:

📌 Immediately after the procedure:

After the tattooing is completed, a dressing (protective film or second skin dressing) is applied to the skin.
Remove the film 24 hours after getting the tattoo.
Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a mild, unscented soap (preferably antibacterial).
Dry the area with a paper towel, gently pressing (do not rub!).

📌 During the first few days:

Apply a thin layer of special tattoo care ointment (e.g., Easy Tattoo, Tattoo Aftercare, Bepanthen Baby) 2-3 times a day.
Avoid tight, rubbing clothing over the tattoo area.
Do not scratch or pick at scabs and peeling skin — this is a natural healing stage.
Avoid intense physical exertion and swimming in pools, lakes, or the sea.

📌 What to avoid during healing:

Do not expose the tattoo to sunlight or use tanning beds, saunas, or swimming pools.
Do not apply greasy creams, perfumes, oils, or alcohol to the tattoo.
Do not take baths — only a quick shower.

📌 After healing:

After about 2-4 weeks, when the skin has fully regenerated, it is worth taking care of the tattoo on a daily basis:
- Moisturize the skin.
- On sunny days, use creams with high UV protection (SPF 50) — this will protect the colors from fading.
